Most insects activly seek out food like sugar or syrup swiftly! but bees seem to guard their honey quite well from them. Whats their secret?

the honey has a strong smell for the insects to get close to it,
we cant smell it but that can,(the insects)

bees can also dismember other insects using their arms and foreparts.they are strong. that is how they kill rival bees who get into the wrong hive or if they need to kill a queen. several bees pull the other one apart.

Insects - they will sting the small insects , but for the Hornet ,it is bad , they would always like to steal their honey, the honey bee will definitely lose.. however , if there is only 1 hornet entered, the honey bee will swarm , their temperature rise and can even kill small amount of Hornet, that is the way they protect their honey from Hornet
