What else can I feed a Venus trapper and a Pitcher plant besides insects

DON'T feed it hamburger meat; it is too fatty. It will kill the plant.

Actually, flytraps are supposed to be put through a dormancy in the winter. They do not need insects. I am surprised no one has pointed this out yet.

Not a cheeto. When I was a kid I put a cheeto in my friend is venus fly trap. It closed on the cheeto and a day later it died.

Go to the nearest pet store and pay for a cricket, they will give it to you in a plastic bag and you can feed it to your plant.

Go to a pet store and buy some of the pellets that people feed koi fish with. They're high protein and easy to drop into the traps.
